What do you think is the best traffic generating method for internet marketers?
I’m curious to know what you think is the best way to generate traffic online for any online business. Please share what you are doing TODAY to generate traffic and what you tried in the past that did not work for you. Thank you!

On my end I pretty much stuck with content along with SEO optimization. I just make sure that my content is what the traffic is looking for – up to date, easy to read, something that tells them what to do and what they should expect.
Hand in hand with that I look at keyword(s) that I think attract a lot of attention. I use Google Keyword tool for this. It’s free, and I’ve heard others don’t like it but for me it works well enough.
Link sharing is something I also try to use as much as I can.
There are several good ways to generate traffic for internet Marketers, but it all depends on what you are marketing. It could be different for different products, jobs, business’ Check out the site below that I found that may help you out. It baisically the same thing I do for my home business and it has a good turn out if you stay on top of it.

The best way is using third-party program, although had several method like free/paying backlink the traffic will come to the site with no customers targeting.
All you need is the program, not paying services, not free backlink or what ever about massive links advertise.

I still think it’s SEO, especially the off-page aspect. However, it is better to use a system where you can have your articles published in more websites or blogs that have different domain names and IPs, and will really give you backlinks. Some users of content from article directories don’t do that.
Offering content to other webmasters, each of whom is also building PR and with a growing readership, and who can grant one-way links is my best bet.
You can get targeted traffic from eBay, mostly ready to buy, but you will have to invest money first in advertising.
Social media is okay but sometimes you’ll just get courtesy visits from friends and, if you have AdSense ads, Google might take notice of the same regular visitors and adjust your commissions adversely.
The Best way is the to rank in the search engines so i would suggest you learn SEO/Search Engine Optimization.
