Is there going to be traffic the night before thanksgiving going to vegas?
I’m planning to leave around 4pm wednesday night, the day before thanksgiving. Will there be heavy traffic, or are most people leaving for vegas earlier/later?

I live and work in Las Vegas and have bartended for the past 5 years on Thanksgiving Day and Las Vegas is a ghost town. In fact, a lott of nightclubs shut down early or don’t even open due to lack of business. I can guarantee there will hardly be any traffic the night before thanksgiving going towards Las Vegas because everyone is going the opposite direction and getting out of town to be home with their families.
Most likely. In england the traffic is REALLY heavy because its thanksgiving. It depends on what its usually like. so I’d set out early.
probably around half 3. Hope this helps.
Oh yeah there is going to be a lot of traffic. Thanksgiving is one of the busiest times of the year in Vegas. The traffic coming into the city isn’t as bad as the traffic going out. It once took me 12 hours to get from Vegas to Bakersfield, CA (and I still wasn’t home but the traffic started to let up). Most of that time was spent at a dead stop out side Vegas, through eastern CA and on the 58. Leave two days or so after Thanksgiving if you can.
Thats rush hour traffic, like well duh!
People will work the day before Thanksgiving!
Leave like at high-noon!
coming from LA? Hella.
