How long until you can’t take traffic school to reduce insurance costs?

My mom got a ticket september of 2008 but never took traffic school and thus my father’s insurance bill went up. When is it too late to take traffic school? Could she still take it and possibly take that off her record? Thanks!

  1. You can compare how the insurance quotes would change, for example here – autoinsurance.noneto.com

  2. Once the conviction is recorded by the court it is too late. This is usually with in 6 months. You need to take traffic school before its reported to DMV. Once DMV records it it cannot be removed except for a clerical error.
